Conveyor Installation
We install belt, roller, chain, gravity, and sortation conveyor systems for distribution centres, fulfilment hubs, and production facilities across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and BC — on schedule, to spec, and validated before we hand it over.
Conveyor Installation Done Right the First Time
A conveyor install isn’t a handyman job — it’s a project. We run every installation on PMP discipline, with Red Seal millwright crews and a validation gate before handover, so the system is ready before we leave your floor.
Installed on a Schedule You Can Plan Around
We scope the job, the crew, and the shutdown window up front and run it on PMP discipline — so the install lands when you need it, not whenever.
Red Seal Millwright Crews
Conveyor installation is skilled-trades work. Our Red Seal millwrights do it every day, not general contractors brought in for the week.
Validated Before Handover
We commission, align, and load-test every system and sign off on readiness before we leave — so it performs from day one.
Every Conveyor System We Install & Commission
From a single line to a full facility, we install and commission the conveyor systems that move Western Canada’s product — built for your real throughput and validated before we hand them over.
Belt Conveyor Systems
Bulk and packaged goods on incline and horizontal runs. We assemble the frame, mount and align the drive, then track and tension the belt — commissioned and load-tested before handover.
Roller Conveyor Systems
Gravity and powered (MDR) roller conveyor installs for sortation and accumulation lines — with zone control where you need it and clean integration into your existing flow.
Chain & Slat Conveyors
Heavy, hot, or oversized loads that belt systems can’t handle. We install chain and slat conveyors built for continuous, punishing duty.
Gravity & Sortation Lines
Fast, low-maintenance gravity flow for pick lines and dock staging, plus integrated sortation lines — drives, motors, controls, and guarding commissioned as one system.
What Makes Horizon's Installation Different?
Plenty of contractors will show up with a wrench and bolt a conveyor together. We install systems as projects — scoped, sequenced, and validated — so they run right from day one.
PMP-Certified Project Management
Every install runs as a managed project: defined scope, named crew, sequenced timeline, and a validation gate before handover.
Red Seal Industrial Millwrights
Certified millwrights install your system — people who do conveyor work daily, not general labour brought on for the week.
24/7 Emergency Response
If a line goes down after start-up, our emergency team responds around the clock to get you running again.
WCB Covered & Avetta Compliant
Installs are completed WCB-covered and Avetta-compliant, with five years and zero lost-time injuries on the floor.
Western Canada Coverage
We install across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Eastern BC — from the Calgary–Edmonton corridor to Fort McMurray and Saskatoon.
Collaborative Partnership Approach
We work with your team and trades around your schedule, not in isolation, so the install fits your operation.

Why Choose Horizon to Install Your Conveyors
Conveyor downtime costs thousands of dollars an hour, so a botched install isn’t an inconvenience — it’s a liability. We’re Western Canada’s project-management-led material handling specialist, led by Jesse Messom, a Red Seal journeyman millwright with an MBA and PMP certification. We install systems for operations like Amazon, FedEx, TJX, Sobeys, and DB Schenker — and prove the system is ready before we leave. We remove risk. We deliver results.
Conveyor Installation FAQs
Do you install brand-new conveyor systems?
Yes. New builds, plant expansions, and full line relocations are core work. We handle the mechanical install, drive and motor integration, alignment, tensioning, and final commissioning end to end.
Can you install during a shutdown or off-hours?
Yes. We sequence installs around your production schedule and planned shutdown windows to keep disruption to a minimum, and we scope those windows up front so there are no surprises.
What types of conveyors do you install?
Belt, roller (gravity and powered MDR), chain, slat, gravity, and integrated sortation systems — sized and built for your real throughput.
Where in Western Canada do you work?
Calgary and across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Eastern BC — including the Calgary–Edmonton corridor, Medicine Hat, Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, Regina, and Saskatoon.
What makes your installs different from a general contractor?
PMP-certified project management and Red Seal millwrights on every job, with a validation gate before handover. We commission and load-test the system instead of leaving at quitting time.
